It seems like Porsche is thinking way ahead into the future - till 2012 at least. Rumours say that the 928 is making its return, sometime after 2010. It will be based on the upcoming 2009 Porsche Panamera. The final model year for the 928 was in 1995 as the 928 GTS.

Any comments?

928 was a great car...until the warranty ran out! Then, it will spend more time in the shop than on the road. Every little thing that you can possibly imagine, went wrong with that car. And each time it went in the shop, it ran up nearly a thousand dollar repair bill. Yearly upkeep on the car was MORE than the book value! Fun car to drive, but you better have extremely deep pockets!
